Consumption of interactive radio instruction programs is influenced by a range of psychodynamic and cultural variables. Radio Instruction producers and scriptwriters need to carefully take those variables into consideration when creating radio instruction contents particularly fousers in crises societies. Participant will learn the integrated theory that underlies AUN’s innovative TRI approach. On completion of the workshop, participants will have the basic tools with which they can produce compelling and entertaining radio instruction contents. For those that are only beginning a career in Radio production, the workshop will help prepare them to function in an increasingly digitalized radio production industry.

US Embassy-AUN Workshop on Peace Journalism

The US Embassy-AUN Workshop on Peace Journalism is designed for Journalists, (including reporters and editors) in any government or privately owned media organization in Nigeria who are interested in strengthening the skills required to report violent conflicts and peace initiatives more creatively. The workshop follows a highly successful 'lite' peace journalism workshop for journalism students in five tertiary institutions in Adamawa state, northeast Nigeria.
